[브레이크뉴스=강동호 기자] 합천군이 경남도의 ‘2026년 소상공인 골목상권 활성화 지원사업’ 공모에 최종 선정돼 도비 6천만원을 확보했다.
이번 사업은 10개 이상 소상공인 점포가 밀집한 골목상권을 대상으로 특화거리 조성과 상권 경쟁력 강화를 지원하는 사업으로, 합천군은 서류·현장·발표 평가를 거쳐 최종 대상지로 선정됐다.
군은 도비를 포함한 총사업비 2억원을 투입해 합천왕후시장 인근 골목인 소주1번가~중앙식육식당, 형제식품~시장그릇상회 구간에 ‘왕후 별빛골목 조성사업’을 추진한다.
주요 사업은 ▲골목 지주간판 설치 ▲바닥 디자인 페인팅 ▲포토존 조성 ▲경관조명 설치 ▲고객 쉼터 마련 등으로, 연말까지 사업을 완료할 계획이다.
합천군은 이번 사업을 통해 전통시장과 골목상권 간 소비 연계를 강화하고, 야간 환경 개선을 통해 단순 통행 공간이 아닌 체류형 상권으로 육성한다는 방침이다.
장재혁 합천군수 권한대행은 “골목상권의 접근성과 인지도를 높여 합천읍 중심 상권 경쟁력을 강화하는 계기가 될 것으로 기대한다”며 “방문객 체류시간 증가와 소상공인 매출 확대에 실질적으로 도움이 될 수 있도록 사업 추진에 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.

The county plans to invest a total project budget of 200 million won, including provincial funds, to carry out the ‘Wanghu Starlight Alley Creation Project’ in the alleys near Hapcheon Wanghu Market, specifically the sections between Soju 1st Street and Jungang Meat Restaurant, and between Hyungje Food and Market Dishware Store.
