충북대학교 공동실험실습관은 한국반도체교육원에서 강원테크노파크 글로벌사업단과 반도체 전문 인력 양성 및 연구 지원 협력 강화를 위한 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다. 이날 협약식에는 충북대 공동실험실습관장과 강원테크노파크 글로벌사업단장을 비롯한 양 기관 핵심 관계자들이 참석해 구체적인 협력 방안을 논의했다.
이번 협약은 반도체 분야 교육의 전문성과 실습 연계성을 획기적으로 끌어올리고, 양 기관이 보유한 인프라와 교육 자원을 결합해 현장 중심의 첨단 교육·연구 지원 체계를 구축하고자 추진됐다.
협약에 따라 양 기관은 반도체 교육 프로그램의 공동 개발 및 운영, 첨단 시설·장비 및 실습 인프라 공동 활용, 분석·측정 및 연구 지원 수요 연계, 세미나와 워크숍 등을 통한 기술 교류 활성화 등 다방면에서 긴밀한 협력을 이어가게 된다.
특히 충북대 공동실험실습관이 보유한 고성능 분석 장비와 전문 분석 역량을 한국반도체교육원 교육 과정과 연계함으로써, 산업 현장에서 즉시 활용 가능한 기업 맞춤형 인재 배출과 연구 지원 효과가 대폭 극대화될 것으로 보인다.
