‘창업초기 소형’ 운용사 선정… 씨엔티테크와 공동 운용 체계 구축

글로벌 액셀러레이터 젠엑시스가 한국벤처투자가 주관하는 2026년 모태펀드 정시 출자사업 ‘창업초기 소형’ 분야 운용사로 선정됐다. 이번 펀드는 씨엔티테크와 공동 운용(Co-GP) 방식으로 추진된다.
이번 선정은 초기 스타트업 투자 확대를 위한 정책펀드 운용사로 이름을 올렸다는 점에서 의미가 있다. 정부가 혁신 기술 기반 창업기업 육성을 주요 과제로 강조하는 가운데, 젠엑시스는 정책 자금을 활용해 창업초기 기업에 대한 투자 비중을 확대할 계획이다.
앞서 젠엑시스는 농림수산식품모태펀드 ‘창업초기 분야’ 운용사로도 선정된 바 있어, 연속된 정책펀드 확보를 통해 초기 투자 전문성을 입증했다는 평가를 받고 있다.
딥테크 중심 초기 투자… ‘투자-성장-글로벌’ 통합 구조 구축
이번 펀드는 업력 3년 이내 스타트업을 주요 투자 대상으로 하는 초기 특화 펀드로, 젠엑시스는 Seed부터 Pre-A 단계까지 선제적 투자를 통해 초기 성장의 기반을 마련할 방침이다. 특히 비수도권 기업 투자도 병행해 지역 창업 생태계 활성화에도 기여할 계획이다.
공동 운용을 맡은 씨엔티테크와의 협업도 주목된다. 젠엑시스가 보유한 AI·바이오·헬스케어 등 딥테크 중심 투자 전략과 씨엔티테크의 대규모 딜 소싱 및 액셀러레이팅 역량이 결합되며, 투자부터 성장 지원, 후속 투자 연계까지 이어지는 통합 투자 체계를 구축한다.
젠엑시스는 투자 이후 성장 지원 역량도 강화해왔다. TIPS 및 LIPS 운영사로서 R&D 자금 연계를 지원하고 있으며, ‘모두의창업’ 프로그램을 통해 창업 저변 확대에도 참여하고 있다. 또한 글로벌 인큐베이션 플랫폼과의 협력을 통해 딥테크 스타트업의 해외 진출까지 지원하는 구조를 마련하고 있다.
젠엑시스 관계자는 “초기 투자 단계에서부터 후속 투자, 정책 자금, 글로벌 확장까지 이어지는 구조를 통해 스타트업 성장을 실질적으로 지원해 나갈 것”이라고 밝혔다.

Global accelerator GenAxis has been selected as a fund manager for the 'Small Early-Stage Startup' category of the 2026 Fund of Funds Regular Investment Program organized by Korea Venture Investment. This fund will be managed in a Co-GP format with CNT Tech.
This selection is significant in that it marks the company's recognition as a fund manager for a policy fund aimed at expanding investment in early-stage startups. As the government emphasizes fostering technology-based startups as a key priority, GenAxis plans to increase its investment in early-stage companies by utilizing policy funds.
GenAxis was previously selected as an operator for the 'Early Stage Startup' sector of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Fund of Funds, and is being evaluated as having proven its expertise in early-stage investment through the consecutive securing of policy funds.
Deep Tech-Focused Early-Stage Investment… Establishing an Integrated 'Investment-Growth-Global' Structure
This fund is an early-stage specialized fund primarily targeting startups with less than three years of experience, and GenAxis plans to lay the foundation for early growth through preemptive investments from the Seed to Pre-A stages. In particular, it also plans to contribute to the revitalization of the regional startup ecosystem by simultaneously investing in companies outside the metropolitan area.
The collaboration with CNT Tech, which is in charge of joint management, is also noteworthy. By combining GenAxis’s deep tech-centric investment strategy in AI, bio, and healthcare with CNT Tech’s large-scale deal sourcing and acceleration capabilities, an integrated investment system is established that extends from investment to growth support and follow-up investment linkages.
GenAxis has also been strengthening its growth support capabilities since its investment. As an operator of TIPS and LIPS, it supports the linkage of R&D funding and participates in expanding the foundation of startups through the 'Startup for All' program. Furthermore, it is establishing a structure to support the overseas expansion of deep tech startups through cooperation with global incubation platforms.
A GenAxis official stated, “We will provide substantial support for startup growth through a structure that extends from the initial investment stage to follow-up investments, government funding, and global expansion.”

グローバルアクセラレータのジェンエクシスが韓国ベンチャー投資家が主管する2026年モテファンド定時出資事業「創業初期小型」分野運用会社に選ばれた。今回のファンドはシエンティテックと共同運用（Co-GP）方式で推進される。
今回の選定は初期スタートアップ投資拡大のための政策ファンド運用会社として名を上げたという点で意味がある。政府がイノベーション技術ベースの創業企業の育成を主な課題として強調する中、ジェンエキシスは政策資金を活用して創業初期企業への投資比重を拡大する計画だ。
これに先立ち、ジェンエキシスは農林水産食品モテファンド「創業初期分野」運用会社にも選ばれており、連続した政策ファンド確保を通じて初期投資専門性を立証したという評価を受けている。
ディープテク中心の初期投資… 「投資 – 成長 – グローバル」統合構造の構築
今回のファンドは業力3年以内にスタートアップを主要投資対象とする初期特化ファンドで、ジェンエキシスはSeedからPre-A段階まで先制的投資を通じて初期成長の基盤を設ける方針だ。特に非水道圏企業投資も並行して地域創業生態系の活性化にも寄与する計画だ。
共同運用を引き受けたシエンティテックとのコラボレーションも注目される。ジェンエキシスが保有するAI・バイオ・ヘルスケアなどディープテク中心投資戦略とシエンティテックの大規模ディールソーシング及びアクセラレーティング能力が結合され、投資から成長支援、後続投資連携まで続く統合投資体系を構築する。
ZENEXISは投資以来、成長支援能力も強化してきた。 TIPSおよびLIPS運営会社としてR&D資金連携を支援しており、「すべての創業」プログラムを通じて創業底辺拡大にも参加している。また、グローバルインキュベーションプラットフォームとの協力を通じてディープテックスタートアップの海外進出まで支援する仕組みを設けている。
ZENEXIS関係者は「初期投資段階から後続投資、政策資金、グローバル拡張まで続く仕組みを通じてスタートアップ成長を実質的に支援していく」と明らかにした。

全球加速器 GenAxis 已被韩国风险投资公司 (Korea Venture Investment) 选定为 2026 年基金之基金常规投资计划“小型早期创业公司”类别的基金管理人。该基金将与 CNT Tech 以共同普通合伙人 (Co-GP) 的形式进行管理。
此次入选意义重大，标志着该公司正式成为一项旨在扩大对早期创业公司投资的政策性基金的基金管理人。鉴于政府将扶持科技型创业公司列为重点发展方向，GenAxis计划利用政策性基金加大对早期公司的投资。
GenAxis 此前被选为农业、食品和农村事务部基金之基金“早期创业”领域的运营商，并通过连续获得政策资金，证明了其在早期投资方面的专业知识，并正在接受评估。
专注于深度科技领域的早期投资……构建一体化的“投资-成长-全球化”架构
该基金是一支专注于早期阶段的专业基金，主要投资于成立不到三年的初创企业。GenAxis计划通过种子轮到Pre-A阶段的先发制人式投资，为这些企业的早期发展奠定基础。此外，该基金还计划通过同时投资都市区以外的公司，为振兴区域创业生态系统做出贡献。
与负责联合管理的CNT Tech的合作也值得关注。GenAxis将自身在人工智能、生物技术和医疗健康领域深耕细作的技术型投资策略，与CNT Tech大规模挖掘和加速项目的能力相结合，构建了一个涵盖投资、成长支持和后续投资对接的一体化投资体系。

L'accélérateur international GenAxis a été sélectionné comme gestionnaire de fonds pour la catégorie « Jeunes pousses » du programme d'investissement régulier « Fonds de fonds » 2026 de Korea Venture Investment. Ce fonds sera géré en partenariat avec CNT Tech.
Cette sélection est significative car elle consacre l'entreprise comme gestionnaire d'un fonds de soutien public destiné à accroître les investissements dans les jeunes entreprises innovantes. Le gouvernement faisant du soutien aux startups technologiques une priorité absolue, GenAxis prévoit d'augmenter ses investissements dans ces entreprises en utilisant des fonds de soutien public.
GenAxis avait été précédemment sélectionné comme opérateur pour le secteur « Jeunes entreprises en phase de démarrage » du Fonds de fonds du ministère de l’Agriculture, de l’Alimentation et des Affaires rurales, et est en cours d’évaluation pour avoir prouvé son expertise en matière d’investissement en phase de démarrage grâce à l’obtention successive de fonds publics.
Investissement en phase d'amorçage axé sur les technologies de pointe… Mise en place d'une structure intégrée « investissement-croissance-mondialisation »
Ce fonds spécialisé en phase d'amorçage cible principalement les startups de moins de trois ans d'existence. GenAxis entend favoriser leur croissance initiale grâce à des investissements préventifs, de l'amorçage à la pré-série A. Il prévoit également de contribuer à la revitalisation de l'écosystème des startups régionales en investissant simultanément dans des entreprises situées en dehors de la zone métropolitaine.
La collaboration avec CNT Tech, qui assure la gestion conjointe, est également à souligner. En associant la stratégie d'investissement de GenAxis, axée sur les technologies de pointe en IA, biotechnologies et santé, aux capacités de CNT Tech en matière de prospection et d'accélération d'opérations à grande échelle, un système d'investissement intégré est mis en place, couvrant l'ensemble du cycle de vie de l'investissement, le soutien à la croissance et les partenariats de suivi.
Depuis son investissement, GenAxis a également renforcé ses capacités d'accompagnement à la croissance. En tant qu'opérateur de TIPS et de LIPS, il facilite l'accès au financement de la R&D et contribue au développement des startups grâce au programme « Startup pour tous ». Par ailleurs, il met en place une structure visant à soutenir l'expansion internationale des startups deep tech en collaborant avec des plateformes d'incubation mondiales.
Un responsable de GenAxis a déclaré : « Nous apporterons un soutien substantiel à la croissance des startups grâce à une structure qui s'étend de la phase d'investissement initiale aux investissements de suivi, au financement gouvernemental et à l'expansion mondiale. »
