Jecheon City Library Opens Exhibition of Past Posters Commemorating the 22nd Jecheon International Music Film Festival
"Gallery The Mapsi," the representative cultural space of the Jecheon City Library, will present a special exhibition of past festival posters from August 4 to September 30 to commemorate the hosting of the 22nd Jecheon International Music Film Festival.
Gallery The Mapsi is a "museum within the library" where local artists and citizens communicate, serving as a community-oriented cultural and artistic space that has added artistic beauty to the daily lives of citizens. Organized as a special exhibition for the 56th edition, this show brings together posters from the Jecheon International Music Film Festival—from the inaugural festival to the 22nd edition held this year—allowing visitors to view the festival's history of growth and evolution at a glance. In particular, the official poster for the 22nd Jecheon International Music Film Festival, taking place this year, draws attention by adopting "Confetti" as its visual motif and capturing the brilliant moments of the festival where cheerful musical melodies and memorable scenes from the screen intersect and harmonize. Meanwhile, the 22nd Jecheon International Music Film Festival is scheduled to be held throughout Jecheon City for six days from September 3 to 8.
An official from the Jecheon City Library stated that this special exhibition will be a meaningful opportunity to look back from various angles on the unique history of the Jecheon International Music Film Festival and the values contained in each edition. They expressed hope that many citizens would visit the library to view the exhibition and show warm interest and support for the upcoming 22nd Jecheon International Music Film Festival.
