(광주=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자=국민주권사수광주전남민주시민연대(이하 시민연대)가 병행투쟁 3일차 집회를 열고 더불어민주당 정청래 당대표와 신세계그룹 정용진 회장을 향해 강도 높은 비판을 쏟아냈다. 이들은 특히 오는 12일 광주에서 열리는 민주당 최고위원회의를 겨냥해 대규모 총궐기 투쟁을 예고했다.
이주연 시민연대 공동집행위원장은 집회에서 "정치인의 첫 번째 덕목은 국민과 시민의 요구에 대답하는 것"이라고 전제한 뒤, "정청래 당대표는 선관위 투표용지 부족 사태에는 특검을 외치면서, 정작 당 내부의 무수한 부정 의혹은 묵살하고 있다"고 지적했다.
이어 이 위원장은 "이로 인해 민주화의 성지인 광주와 전남이 '부정선거 1번지'로 전락했다"고 직격하며, "정청래의 공천 폭거로 호남정치가 완전히 압살당했다"고 강력히 규탄했다.
시민연대는 오는 6월 12일 광주 김대중컨벤션센터에서 정청래 당대표 주재로 열리는 현장 최고위원회의에 맞춰 총력 저지 투쟁에 나설 방침이다.
