괴산군은 군민의 체육 복지를 향상하고 공공체육시설을 보다 효율적으로 관리·운영하기 위해 추진한 「괴산군 체육시설의 관리 및 운영 조례」 전부개정안이 오는 29일부터 본격 시행된다고 밝혔다.
이번 조례 개정은 군민들을 위한 사용료·이용료 감면 기준을 새롭게 정비하고 최근 신설된 신규 체육시설들을 조례에 반영하는 등 기존의 운영 기준을 주민 친화적으로 개선하기 위해 마련됐다.
개정안의 핵심 내용은 괴산군에 주소를 둔 군민이 체육시설에서 행사나 체육 활동을 진행할 경우, 기존에 부과되던 사용료와 이용료를 전액 감면받을 수 있도록 하는 근거를 신설한 점이다. 이에 따라 경제적 부담 때문에 시설 이용을 주저했던 주민들의 생활체육 참여 기회가 한층 더 넓어질 것으로 기대된다.

이번 전액 감면 혜택이 적용되는 곳은 괴산종합운동장을 비롯해 괴산국민체육센터, 괴산군생활체육공원 등 괴산군 관내에 위치한 공공체육시설 총 43개소다.
시설을 이용하고자 하는 괴산군민은 사용 예정일 7일 전까지 사용허가신청서를 작성하여 군청 체육진흥과 체육시설관리팀으로 제출하면 원활하게 이용할 수 있다.
