충북도의회는 12일 학계와 법조계, 언론계, 시민사회 등 다양한 분야에서 추천받은 전문가 7명을 윤리심사자문위원으로 위촉하고 본격적인 활동을 시작했다. 임기 2년의 윤리심사자문위원회는 지방의원의 겸직 및 영리 행위, 윤리행동강령 준수 여부, 징계에 관한 안건을 심의·자문하며 청렴한 의회 문화를 조성하는 핵심 기구다.
이날 위촉식 직후 열린 제1차 회의에서는 송영란 충청북도 여성단체협의회장이 위원장으로, 박재성 변호사가 부위원장으로 각각 선출됐다. 이후 진행된 회의에서는 자문위원회의 향후 세부 운영 방향과 의원 윤리성 확립을 위한 구체적인 논의가 이어졌다.
