프로그램은 전 세대를 아우르는 맞춤형 체험 위주로 구성되어 자연스럽게 세계 문화를 접할 수 있도록 기획되었다. 이달 27일에는 성인을 대상으로 친환경 소재를 활용해 역사적 장면을 예술로 표현하는 도우아트 공예 수업인 ‘지구촌, 오늘의 문화살롱’이 열려 문화와 예술이 접목된 색다른 체험 기회를 제공한다.
하반기에는 여름방학과 독서의 달을 맞아 어린이와 성인을 위한 다채로운 행사가 이어진다. 특히 어린이 프로그램인 ‘북적북적 세계 그림책 놀이터’와 ‘세계 동네 전통놀이’에는 다문화 이주강사가 직접 참여하여 각국의 문화를 생동감 있게 소개할 예정이다. 9월에는 한국 문화를 소재로 한 ‘K-푸드 미니어처 키링 만들기’ 수업이 성인들을 기다리고 있다.
