전남도자치경찰위원회는 최근 ‘2026년 이상동기 범죄예방 치안인프라 구축 공모사업’ 대상지로 화순, 장성, 영광, 진도를 포함한 도내 15개 시군을 최종 선정했다고 밝혔다.
이번 사업은 강력범죄 발생 위험이 높은 지역을 중심으로 첨단 기술을 활용한 방범 시설을 집중 설치하는 프로젝트다. 주요 설치 항목으로는 ▲지능형 CCTV ▲비상벨 ▲보안등 기능이 통합된 ‘스마트폴’ 등이 있으며, 이를 통해 범죄 사각지대를 최소화한다는 방침이다.
