충북옥외광고협회 옥천군지부는 8월 4일 옥천군청을 방문해 옥천군지역사회보장협의체에 성금 100만 원을 전달했다. 이날 기탁식에는 협회 관계자들이 참석해 지역사회 소외계층을 위한 나눔의 뜻을 나누었다.
이번에 전달된 성금은 충북사회복지공동모금회를 거쳐 옥천군지역사회보장협의체가 추진하는 민·관 협력 복지사업과 복지 사각지대 발굴, 취약계층 지원 등 지역 복지 안전망을 강화하는 다양한 사업에 쓰일 예정이다.
충북옥외광고협회 옥천군지부 관계자는 작은 정성이지만 주변의 어려운 이웃들에게 실질적인 도움이 되길 바라는 마음으로 회원들의 뜻을 모았다며 앞으로도 지역사회와 상생하며 이웃사랑을 실천하는 다양한 나눔 활동을 이어가겠다고 소감을 전했다.
