[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 오태완 의령군수는 11일 군청 대회의실에서 열린 민선8기 마지막 확대간부회의에서 민생 현안과 재난 대응 상황을 점검하며 안정적인 군정 운영을 당부했다.
오 군수는 이날 회의에서 민생현장기동대 서비스 확대와 여름철 재난 대비, 취약지역 생활여건 개조사업, 고독사 위험군 실태조사 등 주요 현안을 점검했다.
이어 “선거 시기라고 해서 군정 현안과 민생 업무가 소홀해져서는 안 된다”며 “남은 기간 부군수를 중심으로 군정 공백 없이 안정적인 군정 운영이 이어질 수 있도록 최선을 다해달라”고 말했다.
오 군수는 또 민선8기를 돌아보며 군민과 공직자들에게 감사의 뜻을 전했다.
그는 “민선8기 동안 군민들과 삶의 희로애락을 함께할 수 있었던 것은 큰 영광이자 행복이었다”며 “공직자들의 헌신과 노력 덕분에 의령군이 한 단계 더 성장할 수 있었다”고 말했다.
