【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=영동군 농업정보화연구회가 지난 28일 충청북도농업기술원에서 개최된 제16회 충청북도 농업인 정보화 경진대회에서 다수 분야를 석권하며 지역 농업의 뛰어난 디지털 역량을 과시했다.
도내 농업인의 정보화 역량 강화와 디지털 기술 기반의 농업경영 혁신 사례 발굴을 위해 마련된 이번 대회는 스마트경영 혁신사례, 미디어 크리에이터, 농식품 라이브커머스, 농업·농촌 사진, 지역정보화 확산 등 다양한 분야의 경진과 유공자 시상으로 진행됐다.
대회 결과 영동군 대표로 참가한 강근희 회원이 미디어 크리에이터 분야에서 최우수상을 품에 안았다. 강근희 회원은 국내산 감초 품종인 ‘원감’을 주제로 품종의 특징과 재배 가치를 알기 쉽게 전달하는 영상을 제작해 심사위원단의 호평을 받았다.
이어 스마트경영 혁신사례 분야에서는 이영숙 회원이 서면심사를 통과한 뒤 현장 발표에 나서 우수한 성적으로 입상했다. 해당 분야는 1차 서면 평가와 2차 현장 발표 심사를 종합해 최종 순위를 결정하는 방식으로 치러졌다.
지역 농업·농촌의 정보화 확산에 기여한 공로자들에 대한 표창도 이어졌다. 정희숙 회원이 충청북도지사 표창을 받았으며, 남장희 회원이 충북정보화농업인연합회장 표창을 각각 수상해 영동군 정보화농업인의 위상을 다졌다.
