제주 스마트 양식 고등어 첫 대형마트 납품
안정적 공급 기반으로 전국 유통망 확대 추진
제주 스마트 양식 기업 메가플랜이 자사 양식 고등어를 이마트에 공식 납품하며 대형 유통망 확대에 나섰다.
회사는 제주 서귀포시 표선면 양식장에서 생산한 ‘메가플랜 제주 고등어’를 지난 9일부터 이마트에 납품하고 테스트 판매를 시작했다고 밝혔다. 이번 입점을 계기로 전국 단위 대량 유통 체계를 본격 구축해 나간다는 계획이다.
메가플랜은 수정란부터 치어, 성어까지 이어지는 고등어 완전양식 기술을 상용화한 기업으로, 해양수산부 NET 신기술인증(제2024-해수부NET-019호)을 획득했다. 이마트 측은 기술력과 위생·안전성 등을 종합적으로 검토한 뒤 정식 납품 계약을 체결한 것으로 알려졌다.
양식장은 제주 청정 해수를 활용해 자연 서식 환경에 가까운 수질을 유지하는 스마트 양식 시스템을 운영하고 있다. 이를 기반으로 육질과 품질 균일성을 높였다는 설명이다.

완전양식 기반 안정 공급 확대
기존 자연산 고등어는 계절과 어획량에 따라 가격과 공급 변동성이 컸지만, 양식 고등어는 안정적인 생산과 공급이 가능하다는 점에서 유통업계 관심이 커지고 있다. 메가플랜은 이번 이마트 납품을 계기로 생산 설비 확충과 공급량 확대를 추진할 계획이다. 향후 전국 주요 유통 채널 입점과 대량 유통 체계 구축도 단계적으로 확대한다는 방침이다.
유철원 메가플랜 대표는 “이번 이마트 납품은 고등어 완전양식 기술이 소비자 시장에서 본격적으로 인정받기 시작한 의미 있는 사례”라며 “제주 청정 해수로 키운 고등어를 안정적으로 공급해 국민 식탁의 대표 단백질 공급원으로 자리 잡을 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.

Megaplan Launches Nationwide Distribution Expansion with Jeju Fully Farmed Mackerel Entering E-Mart
Jeju smart aquaculture company Megaplan has set out to expand its large-scale distribution network by officially supplying its farmed mackerel to E-Mart.
The company announced that it began supplying 'Mega Plan Jeju Mackerel,' produced at its aquaculture farm in Pyoseon-myeon, Seogwipo-si, Jeju, to E-Mart on the 9th and started test sales. With this entry, the company plans to fully establish a nationwide mass distribution system.
Megaplan is a company that has commercialized complete mackerel farming technology that extends from fertilized eggs to fry and adult fish, and has obtained the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries NET New Technology Certification (No. 2024-MOF-NET-019). It is reported that E-Mart signed a formal supply contract after comprehensively reviewing the technology, hygiene, and safety.
The fish farm operates a smart aquaculture system that utilizes clean seawater from Jeju to maintain water quality close to natural habitats. Based on this, they explain that they have improved meat quality and quality consistency.

Expansion of stable supply based on complete aquaculture
Interest in farmed mackerel is growing in the distribution industry because, unlike conventional wild mackerel, which experienced significant price and supply volatility depending on the season and catch volume, farmed mackerel allows for stable production and supply. Taking this supply agreement with E-Mart as an opportunity, Megaplan plans to expand production facilities and increase supply volume. Furthermore, the company intends to gradually expand its presence in major nationwide distribution channels and establish a large-scale distribution system in the future.
Yoo Cheol-won, CEO of Megaplan, stated, “This supply to E-Mart is a significant case marking the beginning of full-scale recognition of our complete mackerel farming technology in the consumer market,” adding, “We will strive to establish ourselves as a leading source of protein on the national dinner table by stably supplying mackerel raised in Jeju’s pristine seawater.”

同社は済州西帰浦市表船面養殖場で生産した「メガプラン済州サバ」を去る9日からイマートに納品してテスト販売を開始したと明らかにした。今回の入店をきっかけに全国単位の大量流通体系を本格構築していく計画だ。
メガプランは受精卵から稚魚、成魚まで続くサバ完全様式技術を商用化した企業で、海洋水産部NET新技術認証（第2024-海水部NET-019号）を獲得した。イマート側は技術力と衛生・安全性などを総合的に検討した後、正式納品契約を締結したことが分かった。
養殖場は済州清浄海水を活用して自然の生息環境に近い水質を維持するスマート養殖システムを運営している。これを基に肉質と品質均一性を高めたという説明だ。

完全様式ベースの安定供給拡大
既存の天然サバは季節と漁獲量によって価格と供給の変動性が大きかったが、養殖サバは安定した生産と供給が可能であるという点で流通業界の関心が高まっている。メガプランは今回のイーマート納品をきっかけに生産設備の拡充と供給量の拡大を推進する計画だ。今後、全国の主要流通チャネル入店と大量流通体系の構築も段階的に拡大するという方針だ。
ユチョルウォンメガプラン代表は「今回のイーマート納品はサバ完全様式技術が消費者市場で本格的に認められ始めた意味ある事例」とし「済州清浄海水で育てたサバを安定的に供給して国民食卓の代表タンパク質供給源として位置づけることができるように努力する」と話した。

La ferme piscicole exploite un système d'aquaculture intelligent qui utilise de l'eau de mer propre de Jeju afin de maintenir une qualité d'eau proche de celle des habitats naturels. Grâce à cela, elle explique avoir amélioré la qualité et la constance de la qualité de sa chair.

Développement d'un approvisionnement stable fondé sur une aquaculture complète
L'intérêt pour le maquereau d'élevage croît dans le secteur de la distribution car, contrairement au maquereau sauvage traditionnel, dont les prix et l'approvisionnement sont soumis à une forte volatilité selon la saison et les volumes de pêche, le maquereau d'élevage garantit une production et un approvisionnement stables. Saisissant cette opportunité grâce à son accord d'approvisionnement avec E-Mart, Megaplan prévoit d'agrandir ses installations de production et d'accroître ses volumes. Par ailleurs, l'entreprise entend développer progressivement sa présence dans les principaux circuits de distribution nationaux et mettre en place, à terme, un système de distribution à grande échelle.
Yoo Cheol-won, PDG de Megaplan, a déclaré : « Cette livraison à E-Mart est un cas important qui marque le début de la reconnaissance à grande échelle de notre technologie complète d'élevage de maquereaux sur le marché de consommation », ajoutant : « Nous nous efforcerons de nous imposer comme une source majeure de protéines sur la table nationale en fournissant de manière stable du maquereau élevé dans les eaux pures de Jeju. »
