[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경상남도가 창원국가산단을 중심으로 제조업 인공지능 전환(AX) 확산 사업에 본격 착수했다.
경남도는 21일 창원인터내셔널호텔에서 ‘2026년 인공지능 전환(AX) 실증산단 구축사업’ 착수보고회를 열고 제조 현장 중심의 AI 기반 혁신모델 구축 계획을 공개했다.
이번 사업은 산업통상자원부 공모사업으로 선정돼 2028년까지 총 222억원이 투입된다. 도는 창원국가산단 내 선도기업을 대상으로 제조 AX 대표 공장을 구축하고 이를 산업단지 전반으로 확산할 계획이다.
이날 보고회에는 두산에너빌리티, 현대위아, 삼현과 AI 솔루션 기업, 경남테크노파크, 한국산업단지공단 관계자 등 70여 명이 참석했다.
두산에너빌리티는 AI 기반 스마트 공급망관리(SCM)와 검사·창고 자동화 시스템 구축을 추진한다. 협력사 생산·납기 데이터를 실시간 분석해 공급망 효율을 높이고 AGV·자동창고·검사로봇 등을 활용한 가스터빈 생산관리 고도화에 나선다.
현대위아는 디지털트윈과 AI를 결합한 자율 제조물류 시스템을 구축한다. 화물 상·하차 자동화와 공장 물류 자율화 시스템을 도입해 생산 안정성과 물류 효율 향상을 추진한다.
삼현은 AI 기반 품질관리와 스마트 물류 시스템 개발을 맡는다. 실시간 위치추적(RTLS)과 IoT 데이터를 활용해 불량 예측과 물류 추적 플랫폼 구축에 나설 계획이다.
경남도는 오는 9월 개소 예정인 ‘경남 인공지능 전환 종합지원센터’를 중심으로 AX 클리닉과 체험 프로그램, 기업 지원체계를 운영해 제조업 AI 전환 생태계를 확대한다는 방침이다.

Gyeongsangnam-do has officially launched a project to expand the Artificial Intelligence Transformation (AX) in manufacturing, centered around the Changwon National Industrial Complex.

Samhyun is responsible for developing AI-based quality control and smart logistics systems. It plans to build a defect prediction and logistics tracking platform utilizing real-time location tracking (RTLS) and IoT data.
Gyeongnam Province plans to expand the manufacturing AI transformation ecosystem by operating AX clinics, experience programs, and corporate support systems centered around the ‘Gyeongnam AI Transformation Comprehensive Support Center,’ which is scheduled to open this coming September.
