LG Q1 net income down 37.7 pct to 379 bln won
SEOUL, May 7 (Yonhap) -- LG Corp. on Thursday reported a first-quarter net profit of 379 billion won (US$260.5 million), down 37.7 percent from a year earlier.
The holding company said in a regulatory filing that it posted 413.8 billion won in operating profit for the quarter, compared with 638 billion won a year ago. Sales fell 7 percent to 1.8 trillion won.
