Hanwha Ocean wins order for 3 ammonia carriers for 507 bln won
SEOUL, May 4 (Yonhap) -- Hanwha Ocean Co. said Monday it has secured a 507 billion-won (US$344 million) deal to build three ammonia carriers from an unidentified African client.
So far, the shipbuilder has clinched deals to build 10 ammonia carriers in its history.
With the latest contract, Hanwha Ocean has won orders worth a combined $3.2 billion for 18 vessels, including four LNG carriers and 10 very large oil tankers.
