[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 함양군이 야생동물 질병 확산과 인수공통감염병 예방을 위해 야생동물 보관 신고제 홍보에 나섰다.

함양군은 「야생생물 보호 및 관리에 관한 법률」에 따라 2025년 12월 14일 이전부터 사육·보관 중인 야생동물에 대해 올해 말까지 신고를 완료해야 한다고 밝혔다.

신고 대상은 수출·수입 허가 대상 야생생물과 백색목록(화이트리스트) 포함 종, 환경부령으로 관리되는 야생동물 등이다.

군은 이번 신고제를 통해 지역 내 야생동물 사육 현황을 파악하고 질병 모니터링 체계를 강화해 감염병 유입과 확산을 사전에 차단한다는 계획이다.

또 오는 12월 13일까지 계도기간을 운영하며, 이후 미신고 개체는 적법한 사육이 제한되고 관련 법령에 따라 과태료 처분 대상이 될 수 있다고 설명했다.

신고는 환경부 야생동물종합관리시스템을 통한 온라인 접수와 군청 환경정책과 방문 접수가 가능하다.
