파주시민들의 문화적 소양을 높이고 예술을 생활화하기 위한 교육의 장이 열린다.
파주문화재단은 오는 5월 6일부터 22일까지 율곡문화학당에서 진행되는 예술 및 시민 강좌의 참여자를 선착순으로 모집한다고 밝혔으며 이번 프로그램은 지역 주민들이 일상 속에서 예술을 보다 가깝게 경험할 수 있도록 기획되었으며 모든 과정은 무료로 운영된다.
본격적인 교육은 6월 9일부터 7월 말까지 이어지며 수강생들은 음악을 매개로 추억을 공유하는 활동을 비롯해 향기 제작, 동네 풍경 사생, 각종 공예 소품 만들기 등 폭넓은 예술 분야를 체험할 수 있다.
세부 강좌는 음악교실, 향기 테라피, 미술, 라탄 및 도자 공예, 마크라메 인테리어 등 총 6개 분야로 구성됐으며 특히 일부 강좌는 교육 이수 후 참여자들이 직접 만든 작품을 대중에게 선보이는 전시 기회도 제공한다.
여름방학 기간인 8월 하순에는 어린이와 부모가 함께 즐길 수 있는 특별 강좌도 마련되며 가족 단위 참여자들을 위해 꽃 도시락 제작, 세라믹 오브제 만들기, 연극 체험, 전통 문화 학습, 미술 심리 놀이 등 유대감을 높일 수 있는 체험형 프로그램들이 운영될 예정이다.
