【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충주시립택견단이 국가무형유산 택견 예능보유자와 함께 폴란드를 방문해 현지인들에게 한국 전통무예의 아름다움과 우수성을 널리 알리고 돌아왔다. 이달 11일부터 23일까지 13일간 진행된 이번 유럽 방문에는 택견 예능보유자를 포함해 택견보존회 이수자, 충주시립택견단 수석단원과 상임단원 등 총 4명으로 구성된 한국 대표단이 참여했다.
대표단은 폴란드 그단스크와 올슈틴 지역을 중심으로 총 5회에 걸친 무예 시연과 5회의 교육 세미나를 개최해 현지 택견 수련생과 학생, 무예 관계자들의 폭발적인 관심을 이끌어냈다. 특히 그단스크 지역의 한 초등학교에서는 학생 200여 명을 대상으로 대규모 행사를 진행하며 한국 무예의 매력을 전파했다.
