이번 사업은 지난 6월 과학기술정보통신부 공모에 선정되어 확보한 국비 59억 원을 포함해 총 99억 원의 사업비가 투입되는 대규모 프로젝트다. 충청북도는 어린이집 돌봄 환경 개선, 전통시장 화재 및 안전 사고 예방, 공공도서관 이용 편의성 향상, 효율적인 산림관리 등 도민들의 실제 생활과 밀접한 다양한 분야에 인공지능 기술을 적용하여 실효성 있는 실증 서비스를 발굴해 나갈 계획이다.
