이 같은 결과는 전 직원 대상 개인정보 보호 및 정보보안 교육과 내부관리계획 정비, 개인정보 처리시스템 접근권한 관리 등 실효성 있는 보호조치를 추진한 결과로 분석된다.
특히 시는 개인정보 보호를 위한 인력과 예산 구성의 적정성과 개인정보 처리방침의 체계성이 높게 평가되며 전반적인 보호 수준에서 우수성을 인정받았다.
진주시 관계자는“앞으로도 변화하는 디지털 행정 환경에 맞춰 개인정보 보호체계를 지속적으로 고도화해 시민이 안심할 수 있는 행정을 구현하겠다”고 말했다.
