[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 7일 시청 5층 상황실에서 ‘2026 진주 정원박람회 기획운영 대행용역’ 중간보고회를 열고 박람회 추진 방향과 세부 실행계획을 점검했다고 밝혔다.
2026 진주 정원박람회는 오는 6월 18일부터 21일까지 4일간 ‘진주정원 동행동락(同行同樂), 가꾸고 느끼고 나누다’를 주제로 월아산 숲속의 진주에서 개최된다.
이번 보고회는 박람회 준비 상황을 공유하고 향후 추진 과제를 논의하고, 정원 전시와 정원산업전, 시민참여 프로그램, 부대행사 등 주요 구성에 대한 추진 방향과 운영계획이 다뤄졌다.
이날 회의는 현장 운영계획과 관람 동선, 프로그램 배치 등 박람회 운영 전반에 대한 실행계획과 산지형 정원 환경을 고려한 체험형 콘텐츠와 자연 속 휴식 공간 조성 방안도 공유됐다.
또 이날 월아산 숲속의 진주의 자연환경을 활용해 관람객이 정원문화와 휴식을 동시에 체험할 수 있도록 구성, 관람객 편의 제공과 안전관리, 현장 대응체계 구축 방안 등의 점검이 이뤄졌다.
