증평삼보사회복지관은 5일 복지관 관계자와 아파트 주민들이 참석한 가운데 ‘증평주공3단지·송산LH천년나무3단지 지역주민협의체 위촉식’을 성황리에 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이번에 출범한 지역주민협의체는 주민들의 공동체 의식을 기르고 이웃 간의 정을 나누기 위해 추진 중인 ‘우리동네 공동체 파트너’ 사업의 일환으로 마련됐다. 주민들이 마을에서 일어나는 다양한 현안과 공동 관심사를 수동적으로 받아들이지 않고, 스스로 논의해 해결 방안을 모색하는 주민 주도형 협력 체계를 구축하는 것이 핵심 목적이다.
이날 정식으로 위촉장을 받은 협의체 위원들은 각 아파트 단지의 특성과 주민들의 목소리를 가장 가까이서 듣는 대변자 역할을 맡게 된다. 이들은 앞으로 단지 내 주민들의 생생한 의견을 수렴하는 것을 시작으로, 다채로운 공동체 프로그램 기획, 다정한 주민 소모임 운영, 복지관과 연계한 다양한 상생 복지 사업 참여 등 마을 활성화를 위한 다각적인 활동을 펼칠 예정이다.
