Jecheon FC Children's Soccer Team strengthens practical sense and teamwork through field training in Donghae

Jecheon FC Children's Soccer Team, operated by Shinbaek Children's Welfare Center, successfully completed summer training in the Donghae area of Gangwon-do for 3 days and 2 nights from July 22nd to 24th.

This training camp was held with a total of 21 participants, including soccer team members, leaders, and guides, and was designed to improve the basic physical strength of children and teenagers on summer vacation, check their skills in a new environment, and improve cooperation among members.

During the training period, the members completed basic training and tactical classes and improved their practical skills through friendly matches with children's soccer teams in the East Sea region. After the game, we held a self-evaluation meeting to look back on the game, share individual strengths and weaknesses, and discuss the direction of development for the entire team. In addition, various cultural experience activities, such as a visit to Hwaam Cave in Jeongseon, were also held, providing an opportunity for members to build friendships with peers and gain rich experiences.

The guidance official who led the field said that the training camp was a meaningful time where the children could apply the skills they had learned in actual games and examine their own shortcomings, and that they would guide the children to grow into talents with both skills and character through the process of encouraging each other and learning responsibility beyond simple wins and losses.

A welfare center official also said that Jecheon FC goes beyond simply learning soccer and is a space of growth where children discover their potential and develop their dreams. As it approaches its 20th anniversary, it will continue to serve as a reliable helper so that children who love soccer can play to their heart's content regardless of the environment or conditions.

Meanwhile, Jecheon FC Children's Soccer Team, which was founded in 2008 and will celebrate its 20th anniversary next year, is a representative sports welfare project of Shinbaek Children's Welfare Center and has continued to support regular training, field training, and soccer supplies for local children and youth with a passion for soccer, including children from underprivileged classes.
