(무안·순천=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자=전라남도가 지역 경제의 허리 역할을 할 ‘2026년 전라남도 유망 중소기업’ 발굴에 나선다.
전남도는 기술력과 성장 잠재력을 두루 갖춘 도내 중소기업을 발굴해 지역 대표 강소기업으로 육성하기 위해 오는 18일까지 참여 기업을 모집한다고 밝혔다.
‘유망 중소기업 지정 제도’는 성장 가능성이 높은 기업을 체계적으로 지원해 기업의 경쟁력을 높이고, 이를 통해 지역 일자리 창출과 경제 활성화를 도모하기 위한 사업이다.
신청 자격은 전남 지역에서 3년 이상 사업을 영위하고 있으며, 최근 매출액이 20억 원 이상인 중소기업이다. 대상 업종은 ▲제조업 ▲제조업 관련 서비스업 ▲지식기반 서비스업 등이다.
전남도는 신청 기업을 대상으로 재무 건전성, 기술 경쟁력, 고용 창출 성과, 성장 가능성 등을 종합적으로 심사해 최종 대상자를 선정할 방침이다.
유망 중소기업으로 선정된 기업에는 경영 안정과 성장을 돕는 다양한 우대 혜택이 쏟아진다.
주요 지원책으로는 ▲전남도 중소기업 육성자금 융자 한도 상향 및 이자 지원 우대 ▲판로 개척 및 수출 마케팅 지원사업 신청 시 가점 부여 ▲3년간 도 및 시군 지방세 세무조사 면제 등이 포함됐다.
최근 원자재 가격 상승과 고금리 등으로 경영난을 겪고 있는 도내 기업들에 이번 지정 사업은 안정적인 경영 기반을 마련하고 새로운 성장동력을 확보하는 마중물이 될 것으로 기대된다.
전남도는 선정된 기업들이 향후 글로벌 강소기업으로 도약할 수 있도록 맞춤형 지원 방안을 지속적으로 확대할 계획이다.
