영동군은 28일 영동군 여성회관 예식장에서 청소년지도위원 위촉식을 열고 총 68명의 위원에게 위촉장을 전달했다. 이번에 위촉된 지도위원들은 각 읍·면장과 학교장의 추천을 받아 선발되었으며, 오는 8월 1일부터 2029년 7월 31일까지 3년 동안 임기를 수행하게 된다.
청소년지도위원은 영동군 청소년지도위원 위촉 및 운영에 관한 조례에 근거해 활동한다. 이들은 지역 내 청소년 건전 생활 지도, 청소년 유해업소 및 환경 조사·선도·정화 활동, 청소년 유익 환경 조성 등 청소년 보호와 건전한 육성을 위한 다각적인 활동에 앞장설 예정이다.
