▲ 여성폭력방지 7월 활동 현황
[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 양산시가 여성폭력 예방과 피해자 지원 체계 강화를 위해 지역 유관기관과 협력체계 구축에 나섰다.
양산시는 여성폭력방지 캠페인 수행기관인 양산가족상담센터와 함께 '양산방문의 해, 폭력 없는 안전한 양산'을 슬로건으로 간담회와 SNS 릴레이 캠페인을 진행하고 있다고 밝혔다.
사업은 지역 내 13개 유관기관을 대상으로 추진된다. 지난 5월 양산시정신건강복지센터 등 3개 기관을 시작으로 6월 양산시아동보호전문기관 등 3개 기관, 7월 양산외국인근로자지원센터 등 2개 기관과 간담회를 진행했으며, 8월에는 양산시가족센터 등 3개 기관이 참여할 예정이다.
간담회에서는 여성폭력 예방 관련 기관 간 협력체계 구축과 피해자 지원 강화, 여성폭력방지 캠페인 활성화, 여성폭력 사각지대 해소를 위한 지역 안전망 강화 방안 등을 논의하고 공동 홍보활동을 펼치고 있다.
양산시는 이번 사업을 통해 민관 협력을 확대하고 여성폭력 예방과 피해자 보호를 위한 지역 대응체계를 지속적으로 강화해 나갈 계획이다.
이성미 여성청소년과장은 "여성폭력은 개인의 문제가 아닌 지역사회가 함께 해결해야 할 과제"라며 "예방 중심 정책과 피해자 보호를 위한 협력체계를 지속적으로 강화해 안전한 지역사회 조성에 힘쓰겠다"고 말했다.
