[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 양산시가 민선 9기 공약사업의 실행력을 높이기 위해 공약사항 검토보고회를 열고 사업별 추진 방향과 재원 확보 방안을 점검했다.

양산시는 지난 24일과 27일 이틀간 나동연 시장 주재로 국·소장과 담당 부서장이 참석한 가운데 '민선 9기 시장 공약사항 검토보고회'를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 보고회에서는 110여 개 공약사업을 대상으로 추진계획과 재정 여건, 법령 및 제도 적합성, 사업 실효성 등을 종합적으로 검토했다. 부서 간 협업이 필요한 사업은 추진체계를 보완하고, 중·장기 과제는 단계별 추진전략을 마련하는 등 실행계획을 구체화하는 데 중점을 뒀다.

시는 공약사업의 실현 가능성과 재원 확보 방안, 사업 간 연계성 등을 종합적으로 점검해 시민과의 약속을 차질 없이 이행할 수 있는 기반을 마련한다는 방침이다.

나동연 양산시장은 "공약은 시민과의 약속인 만큼 실현 가능성과 시민 체감도를 최우선으로 고려해야 한다"며 "검토 결과를 바탕으로 공약사업을 내실 있게 추진해 시민이 체감하는 성과를 만들어 가겠다"고 말했다.

양산시는 보고회 결과를 반영해 세부 실천계획과 재원계획을 보완한 뒤 공약이행평가단 심의와 시민 의견 수렴을 거쳐 오는 10월 공약사업을 최종 확정하고 시 홈페이지를 통해 공개할 예정이다.
