이번 점검은 공직자의 이해충돌 방지법에 따른 수의계약 체결 제한 등 주요 규정 준수 여부를 중심으로 진행됐으며, 일부 실무자들의 규정 이해 부족으로 인한 경미한 착오 사례가 확인됐다.

이에 시는 단순 지적에 그치지 않고, 지적사항이 발생한 부서를 대상으로 부서장 책임 하에 실무자 교육을 실시하며 재발 방지에 나섰다.

특히 현장에서 빈번하게 발생할 수 있는 사례를 중심으로 법령 기준을 구체적으로 안내하는 데 중점을 뒀다.

시 관계자는 “오는 8월에도 이해충돌 방지제도 자체점검을 실시할 예정”이라며 “정기 점검과 현장 밀착형 교육을 병행해 청렴하고 공정한 공직 환경을 지속적으로 강화해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
