첫째, 지역 소멸 대응을 위해 전 군민을 대상으로 한 ‘농촌기본소득수당’ 도입을 추진한다. 신 후보 측은 2026년부터 2030년까지 단계적으로 제도를 시행해 군민 소득 안정을 도모할 계획이라고 밝혔다.
둘째, 일자리 창출을 위한 ‘식품바이오 기업성장 지원센터’ 설립과 국가항체바이오 산업 관련 30개 기업 유치를 약속했다. 이를 통해 임기 내 총 2,500개의 일자리를 창출하겠다는 목표다.
셋째, 소상공인 지원 강화를 위해 ‘소상공인 민생경제협의체’를 운영하고 ‘소상공인 전담 지원부서’를 신설한다. 이를 바탕으로 소상공인 특례보증 확대, 이자 지원, 골목형 상점가 지정 등 현장 중심의 행정을 전개할 방침이다.
