시는 지난 4월 공급 업체를 공개 모집한 후 지난 18일 답례품선정위원회 심사를 거쳐 최종 확정했다. 이번에 추가된 답례품은 동충하초 삼겹살·목살 세트, 정조대왕 매실박하 콤부차, 캣따비·소소분무, 수제 공예 매듭키링, 모란도·민화 원데이클래스, 행궁동 나들이 한복대여 등이다.
이번 공모에는 청년 창업자들이 적극적으로 참여하여 반려동물 용품, 체험클래스, 도심 관광 연계 상품 등 다양한 도시형 답례품이 발굴됐으며, 이로써 수원의 전체 답례품은 총 73종으로 늘어났다.
