보은군에 따르면 지난 7월 15년부터 8월 14일까지 한 달간 운영된 집중 신청기간 동안 6월 30일 기준 대상 군민 3만 1,111명 중 2만 8,730명이 접수를 마쳤다. 보은군은 읍·면별 마을 지정일 접수와 찾아가는 방문 신청을 병행하며 주민 편의를 높였다. 집중 신청기간이 끝난 이후에도 미신청자를 위한 상시 접수와 찾아가는 방문 신청 조치를 계속해서 이어갈 방침이다.
