▲ 남해 ‘회룡쏙잡이원정대’ 성황
[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 남해군 회룡농촌체험휴양마을에서 열린 체험형 축제 ‘갯벌을 살리는 회룡 쏙잡이 원정대’가 참가자 200여 명이 찾은 가운데 성황을 이뤘다.
지난 17일 남해관광문화재단과 회룡농촌체험휴양마을이 공동 추진한 이번 행사는 지역 갯벌과 특산물, 주민 참여를 기반으로 한 소규모 로컬축제 모델 발굴을 목표로 기획됐다.
주민들은 축제 기획부터 운영까지 직접 참여해 쏙잡이 체험과 로컬푸드 판매, 현장 프로그램 등을 운영했다. 참가자들이 잡은 쏙은 지퍼백과 보냉팩에 담아 가져갈 수 있도록 했으며, 보냉팩에는 손질법과 요리 레시피를 확인할 수 있는 QR코드도 제공됐다.
행사장에서는 회룡마을부녀회가 준비한 쏙튀김과 죽방멸치주먹밥, 미니버거, 어묵 등 먹거리도 함께 운영됐다. 보물찾기와 팔씨름대회 등 체험형 프로그램도 진행돼 가족 단위 방문객들의 호응을 얻었다.
회룡농촌체험마을 측은 이번 축제를 통해 주민 중심 자립형 관광 콘텐츠의 가능성을 확인했다고 평가했다.
남해관광문화재단은 앞으로도 지역 주민이 직접 기획·운영하는 체류형 관광상품과 소규모 로컬축제 발굴 지원을 확대할 계획이라고 밝혔다.
