괴산군에 따르면 올해 4월부터 본격 운영에 들어간 산림 체험 프로그램은 두 달 만에 누적 참여자 3,854명을 돌파했다. 가족 단위 관광객과 지역 주민들의 발길이 꾸준히 이어지면서 높은 예약률을 기록해 지역 관광 활성화에도 긍정적인 효과를 내고 있다.
성불산 산림휴양단지는 계절별 숲의 생태와 식물 이야기를 쉽고 흥미롭게 풀어내는 다양한 프로그램을 연중 운영하는 것이 특징이다.
