[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경남교육청이 이공계 진학을 희망하는 학생과 학부모를 위해 국내 주요 과학기술원 입학 정보를 한자리에서 제공한다.
경상남도교육청은 13일 경남교육청 별관 공감홀에서 학생·학부모 200명을 대상으로 ‘2027학년도 국립특수대학교 과학기술원 입학설명회’를 개최한다고 밝혔다.
이번 설명회에는 국내 대표 이공계 연구중심대학인 KAIST, GIST, DGIST, UNIST 입학 관계자들이 직접 참석해 대학별 입학전형과 준비 전략을 소개한다.
설명회는 DGIST를 시작으로 KAIST, UNIST, GIST 순으로 진행되며 각 대학이 40분씩 입학전형과 대학 특성, 인재상 등을 설명할 예정이다.
경남교육청은 참가자들에게 2027학년도 수시모집 안내 자료와 입시 정보를 제공하고, 대학별 설명 이후 질의응답 시간을 마련해 입시 궁금증을 해소할 수 있도록 지원한다.
이번 설명회는 4개 과학기술원의 입시 정보를 비교·분석할 수 있는 기회로, 학생들이 대학별 전형 특징과 준비 방향을 파악해 진학 계획을 구체화하는 데 도움을 줄 것으로 기대된다.
정선희 진로교육과장은 “학생과 학부모가 변화하는 입시제도에 효과적으로 대응할 수 있도록 최신 진학 정보를 제공하고 있다”며 “앞으로도 공교육 중심의 맞춤형 진학 지원을 강화해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
