[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경남교육청이 인공지능 전환(AX) 시대에 대응한 교사 역량 강화 연수를 열고 AI·디지털 기반 수업 혁신 방향 모색에 나섰다.
경상남도교육청은 20일 미래교육원에서 ‘인공지능(AI)·디지털 교육 역량 체계 이해·활용 연수’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이번 연수에는 AI·디지털 기반 교원연수 운영기관 담당자와 교육지원단, 교원, 교육전문직원 등 200여 명이 참석했다.
연수는 교육부와 한국교육학술정보원(KERIS)이 개발한 ‘교원 AI·디지털 교육 역량 체계’를 기반으로 진행됐다. 해당 체계는 단순 기술 활용이 아닌 학생 성장과 교사 전문성, 인간 중심 교육 가치에 초점을 맞춘 국가 수준 교원 역량 기준이다.
주제 강의는 공주교육대학교 도재우 교수가 맡아 AI 시대 교사의 역할 변화와 디지털 교육 역량 강화 방향을 설명했다. 강의에서는 유네스코(UNESCO)와 경제협력개발기구(OECD)의 미래교육 방향과 국내 AI·디지털 교육 역량 체계 고도화 내용도 소개됐다.
이어진 분과 연수에서는 학교 현장 적용 사례가 공유됐다.
초등 분과에서는 감계초등학교 신수현 수석교사가 학습자 분석과 교수·학습 설계, 과정 중심 평가 운영 사례 등을 발표했다.
중등 분과에서는 마산여자고등학교 황아영 교사가 AI·디지털 교육 역량 체계를 기반으로 한 교원 연수 운영과 맞춤형 수업 설계 사례를 소개했다.
경남교육청은 이번 연수를 계기로 AI·디지털 기반 수업과 평가 역량 확산, 교원 전문성 강화 지원을 확대할 계획이다.
김지연 창의인재과장은 “AI 전환 시대에도 교육의 중심은 사람”이라며 “교사들이 디지털 기술을 학생 성장 지원과 연결하는 전문적 실천 역량을 키울 수 있도록 지원하겠다”고 말했다.

Over 200 Teachers Participate… Sharing Cases of Classroom and Assessment Innovation
The Gyeongnam Office of Education held a training session to strengthen teachers' competencies in response to the era of AI Transformation (AX) and set out to explore directions for AI and digital-based classroom innovation.
The Gyeongsangnam-do Office of Education announced that it held the "Training on Understanding and Utilizing the AI & Digital Education Competency Framework" at the Future Education Center on the 20th.
Approximately 200 people attended the training, including representatives from AI & digital-based teacher training operating agencies, members of the Education Support Corps, teachers, and education specialists.
The training was conducted based on the "Teacher AI & Digital Education Competency Framework" developed by the Ministry of Education and the Korea Education and Research Information Service (KERIS). This framework is a national-level teacher competency standard that focuses on student growth, teacher professionalism, and human-centered educational values, rather than simply the use of technology.
Professor Do Jae-woo of Gongju National University of Education delivered the keynote lecture, explaining the changing roles of teachers in the AI era and directions for strengthening digital education competencies. The lecture introduced the future education directions of UNESCO and the OECD, as well as the advancement of the domestic AI and digital education competency framework.
During the subsequent breakout sessions, case studies of their application in school settings were shared.
In the elementary school breakout, Senior Teacher Shin Su-hyeon from Gamgye Elementary School presented examples of learner analysis, instructional design, and process-oriented assessment operations.
In the secondary school breakout, Teacher Hwang A-young from Masan Girls' High School introduced examples of teacher training operations based on the AI and digital education competency framework and customized lesson design.
Taking this training as an opportunity, the Gyeongnam Office of Education plans to expand support for the dissemination of AI and digital-based teaching and assessment competencies and the strengthening of teachers' professional expertise.
Kim Ji-yeon, Head of the Creative Talent Division, stated, "Even in the era of AI transition, people remain at the center of education," adding, "We will provide support to help teachers cultivate the professional practical competencies to connect digital technology with supporting student growth."
