▲ 거제시, 대규모 민간투자사업 점검
[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 거제시가 지역 주요 민간투자사업의 추진 상황을 점검하고 인허가 지원 등 행정 지원 강화에 나섰다.
거제시는 지난 27일 시청 부시장실에서 민기식 부시장 주재로 '대규모 민간투자사업 추진사항 검토 보고회'를 열고 주요 사업의 진행 상황과 현안을 점검했다고 밝혔다.
보고회에는 시 관계자와 사업 시행사가 참석해 기업혁신파크, 소동 휴양콘도미니엄, 장승포유원지, 해금강 휴양시설 등 6개 주요 민간투자사업의 추진 현황을 공유하고 사업별 애로사항과 지원 방안을 논의했다.
시는 인허가 지연과 각종 규제, 기반시설 부족 등 사업 추진 과정에서 발생하는 문제를 점검하고, 관련 부서 간 협업을 통해 행정절차를 단축하는 등 원스톱 지원체계를 강화하기로 했다.
또 소송이나 사업 중단 상태인 사업에 대해서는 원인을 분석해 대응 방안을 마련하고, 시행사와의 소통을 확대해 사업 정상화를 지원할 방침이다.
민기식 부시장은 "대규모 민간투자사업은 지역경제 활성화와 관광·산업 기반 확충의 핵심 사업"이라며 "행정적·환경적 리스크를 사전에 관리하고 기업 애로사항을 적극 해소해 사업이 차질 없이 추진될 수 있도록 지원하겠다"고 말했다.
