【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=증평군이 증평군청소년수련관 강당에서 여성단체 회원과 지역주민 400여 명이 참석한 가운데 ‘2026년 증평군 양성평등주간 기념행사’를 성황리에 개최했다.
증평군여성단체협의회가 주관한 이번 행사는 양성평등주간을 맞아 양성평등의 실질적 의미를 되새기고 지역사회 내 상호 존중과 화합의 문화를 널리 확산하기 위해 마련됐다.
기념식은 통기타 식전 공연을 시작으로 각 여성단체의 특색을 담은 단체기 입장, 양성평등 유공자 표창, 기념사 및 축사, 양성평등 실천 퍼포먼스 순으로 다채롭게 진행됐다.
이날 유공자 표창 시상식에서는 지역사회 발전과 양성평등 실현에 앞장선 공로로 소비자교육중앙회 증평군지회 등 개인과 단체를 포함한 다수의 수상자에게 군수, 군의장, 국회의원, 여성단체협의회장 표창이 수여됐다.
이어 진행된 화합행사에서는 여성단체와 가족센터 등이 참여해 사물놀이, 합창, 라인댄스, 양성평등 패션쇼, 베트남 전통춤 등 풍성한 문화공연을 선보여 참석자들의 열띤 호응을 이끌어냈다. 참석자들은 서로의 차이를 인정하고 배려하는 성숙한 지역사회를 만들어가는 데 뜻을 모았다.
