[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 밀양과 양산 지역 환경미술 작가들이 참여하는 교류전이 밀양아리랑아트센터에서 열린다.
밀양환경미술협회는 오는 24일까지 밀양아리랑아트센터 전시실에서 ‘밀양환경미술협회-양산환경미술협회 교류전’을 개최한다고 밝혔다.
이번 전시는 ‘만남’을 주제로 양 지역 작가들이 자연과 환경의 가치를 예술 작품으로 표현한 교류 행사다. 지역 간 문화예술 소통과 협력 확대를 위해 마련됐다.
전시장에는 자연과 인간의 공존 메시지를 담은 회화와 설치미술 작품 등이 전시된다. 작품들은 환경 보전과 생명의 가치에 대한 인식을 예술적으로 풀어낸 것이 특징이다.
밀양시는 이번 교류전이 환경 문제에 대한 시민 공감대를 형성하고, 인접 도시 간 문화예술 교류 활성화에도 도움이 될 것으로 기대하고 있다.
또 지역 예술단체 간 협업을 통해 밀양과 양산의 문화적 연계성을 강화하는 계기가 될 것으로 보고 있다.
이정곤 밀양시장 권한대행은 “환경 보호 메시지를 문화예술로 확장하는 의미 있는 전시”라며 “시민들이 다양한 문화예술을 접할 수 있도록 지원을 이어가겠다”고 말했다.
