[Break News Gyeonggi South = Siheung Reporter Lee Hyun-jun] The reading club "Life Like a Journey," affiliated with Siheung City's Soraebit Library, has been finally selected for the 2026 Reading Club Revitalization Project promoted by Gyeonggi Province.
This project was established to support voluntary reading groups among residents and to spread a reading culture within the region. Selected clubs will receive various benefits, including reading points for book purchases, as well as education and consulting.
"Life Like a Journey" is a follow-up group voluntarily formed by participants of a literary writing program operated last year in collaboration between Soraebit Library and the Siheung Writers Association. Formed to maintain a literary common ground even after the program ended, the club currently operates with a focus on regular book discussions and writing activities. With this project selection, the club will be able to continue substantial activities in a more stable environment.
It is expected that this support project will further revitalize a citizen-led reading culture. For more detailed information regarding club activities, please contact Soraebit Library.
