수완고는 13일 본교 교장실에서 광주보건대학교와 ‘보건의료 계열 특화 교육 업무협약(MOU)’을 체결하고, 지역 사회와 함께 성장하는 맞춤형 교육과정 운영 방안을 적극 추진하기로 합의했다.
이번 협약은 ‘자율형 공립고 2.0’ 지정을 바탕으로 교육과정 운영의 자율성을 확보한 수완고가 지역 전문 교육기관인 광주보건대학교의 우수한 인프라를 결합해 교육 경쟁력을 극대화하고, 보건의료 분야에 뜻을 둔 학생들에게 깊이 있는 진로 탐색의 기회를 제공하고자 마련됐다.
협약에 따라 양 기관은 보건의료 분야의 핵심 직렬인 ▲간호 ▲치위생 ▲물리치료 ▲임상병리 ▲응급구조 등 다양한 계열을 아우르는 특화 교육과정을 공동 개발·운영한다.
특히 광주보건대학교는 수완고에서 개설되는 보건의료 분야 공동교육과정 및 소인수 선택 과목에 전문 강사 인력을 직접 파견해 수업의 전문성을 대폭 끌어올릴 예정이다. 이와 함께 대학 내 첨단 실습실과 고가의 실습 기자재 등 현장감 높은 교육 인프라를 수완고 학생들에게 개방함으로써 이론과 실무가 결합된 깊이 있는 학습 환경을 제공한다.
