밀양 공공산후조리원 새 수탁기관 선정…9월부터 미르아이병원 운영

[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 밀양시 공공산후조리원이 새 수탁기관을 통해 운영을 이어간다.

밀양시는 14일 미르아이병원과 밀양공공산후조리원 운영 위·수탁 계약을 체결하고 오는 9월 1일부터 미르아이병원이 운영을 맡는다고 밝혔다.

이번 수탁기관 변경은 기존 수탁기관의 운영 중단에 따른 공공산후조리원 운영 공백을 막기 위해 추진됐다. 시는 지난 7월부터 신규 수탁기관 모집 절차를 진행해 미르아이병원을 선정했다.

미르아이병원은 시설과 인력 인계를 거쳐 운영 준비를 마친 뒤 9월 1일부터 산모와 신생아를 대상으로 산후조리 서비스를 제공할 예정이다.

밀양시는 수탁기관 변경 과정에서 기존 예약자의 이용에 차질이 없도록 조치하고 시설과 인력 등 운영 준비 상황을 사전에 점검할 계획이다.

안병구 밀양시장은 “공공산후조리원은 산모와 신생아의 회복을 지원하는 중요한 공공서비스”라며 “수탁기관 변경으로 시민들이 불편을 겪지 않도록 안정적인 운영을 준비하겠다”고 말했다.
