[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시 장애인 표준사업장 ㈜지캡이 문화·예술 활동을 넘어 체육 분야까지 사업을 확대했다.

김해시는 30일 ㈜지캡의 신설 조직인 '김해스포츠사업부 파크골프팀'이 한 달간의 교육을 마치고 지난 10일 정식 근로계약을 체결하며 본격 운영에 들어갔다고 밝혔다.

파크골프팀에는 중증 발달장애인 선수 18명이 참여하며, 이들은 5월부터 한 달간 맞춤형 직무교육을 이수했다. 현재는 전문 강사와 사회복지사 등 지원인력의 지도 아래 직장인 소양교육과 실내·스크린 파크골프 훈련을 병행하고 있다.

이번 팀 출범으로 ㈜지캡은 기존 음악예술단에 이어 체육 분야까지 사업 영역을 넓히며 문화·예술·체육을 아우르는 종합형 장애인 표준사업장으로의 기반을 마련했다. 시는 오는 2029년까지 중증장애인과 지원인력 등 총 200명 규모로 확대할 계획이다.

김해시는 올해 50명의 중증장애인 일자리 창출과 함께 2029년까지 누적 127억 원 이상의 공공재정 절감 효과를 기대하고 있다.

박종주 김해시 복지국장은 "파크골프팀 출범은 민관 협력 기반의 지캡 모델이 장애인 일자리와 자립 지원 분야에서 새로운 가능성을 보여주는 사례"라며 "장애인이 예술과 체육을 통해 사회와 소통하고 안정적으로 자립할 수 있도록 지원을 이어가겠다"고 말했다.

한편 지난해 설립된 ㈜지캡은 음악예술단 운영에 이어 앞으로 슐런사업단과 미술사업단 등으로 사업을 확대할 계획이다.
