Kolon Industries Q1 net income up 303.1 pct to 79.7 bln won
SEOUL, May 8 (Yonhap) -- Kolon Industries on Friday reported its first-quarter net income of 79.7 billion won (US$54.2 million), up 303.1 percent from a year earlier.
The Korean chemical and textile manufacturing company said in a regulatory filing that it posted 61.9 billion won in operating profit for the quarter, compared with 26.9 billion won a year ago. Corporate sales also rose 0.5 percent to 1.23 trillion won.
