HD Hyundai Marine Engine Q1 net profit up 103 pct to 28.1 bln won
SEOUL, May 7 (Yonhap) -- HD Hyundai Marine Engine on Thursday reported its first-quarter net income of 28.1 billion won (US$19.4 million), up a strong 103 percent from a year earlier.
The marine engine and engine parts manufacturer said in a regulatory filing that it posted 32.6 billion won in operating profit for the quarter, compared with 10.3 billion won a year ago. Sales also moved up 60.8 percent to 133.5 billion won.
