[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 인공지능(AI) 시대를 살아갈 자녀를 어떻게 키워야 할지 고민하는 학부모들을 위한 맞춤형 교육이 마련된다.
경남교육청은 6월 10일부터 7월 16일까지 도내 학부모를 대상으로 ‘2026년 상반기 경남학부모 아카데미’를 운영한다고 밝혔다.
이번 아카데미는 AI 기술 확산에 따른 교육환경 변화에 대응해 학부모들이 미래교육 흐름을 이해하고 자녀 교육에 필요한 역량을 키울 수 있도록 기획됐다.
강의는 온라인 3회, 현장 특강 1회로 진행된다. 온라인 강의에서는 아주대학교 김경일 교수가 ‘AI 시대 미래세대의 역량’, 길벗스쿨 박재원 소장이 ‘AI 시대 부모 역할의 절대 공식’, 명지병원 김현수 교수가 ‘AI 시대 아이들의 마음 읽기와 정서 관리’를 주제로 강연한다.
현장 특강은 7월 9일 밀양교육지원청에서 열리며, 경남대학교 권은경 교수가 ‘AI 시대의 학습 동기와 전략’을 주제로 학부모들과 만난다.
온라인 강의는 유튜브 ‘경남학부모TV’를 통해 시청할 수 있으며, 모든 강의에 수어통역이 제공된다.
경남교육청은 이번 아카데미가 학부모들의 미래교육 이해도를 높이고, AI 시대에 요구되는 자녀 교육 방향을 함께 모색하는 계기가 될 것으로 기대하고 있다.
구현숙 학교혁신과장은 “AI 발전으로 교육 환경이 빠르게 변화하고 있다”며 “학부모들이 변화에 대한 이해를 넓히고 자녀 교육에 필요한 역량을 키우는 데 도움이 되길 바란다”고 말했다.

Customized education is being prepared for parents concerned about how to raise children who will live in the era of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The Gyeongnam Office of Education announced that it will operate the "2026 First Half Gyeongnam Parent Academy" for parents in the province from June 10 to July 16.
This academy was designed to help parents understand the trends of future education and develop the competencies necessary for their children's education, in response to changes in the educational environment caused by the spread of AI technology.
The lectures will be conducted through three online sessions and one in-person special lecture. In the online lectures, Professor Kim Kyung-il of Ajou University will speak on "Competencies of Future Generations in the AI Era," Director Park Jae-won of Gilbut School on "The Absolute Formula for the Role of Parents in the AI Era," and Professor Kim Hyun-soo of Myongji Hospital on "Reading Children's Minds and Emotional Management in the AI Era."
An in-person special lecture will be held at the Miryang Office of Education on July 9, where Professor Kwon Eun-kyung of Gyeongnam National University will meet with parents on the topic of "Learning Motivation and Strategies in the AI Era."
Online lectures can be viewed via the YouTube channel "Gyeongnam Parent TV," and sign language interpretation will be provided for all lectures.
The Gyeongnam Office of Education expects this academy to serve as an opportunity to enhance parents' understanding of future education and to jointly explore the direction of child education required in the AI era.
Gu Hyeon-suk, Head of the School Innovation Division, stated, "The educational environment is changing rapidly due to the advancement of AI," adding, "I hope this will help parents broaden their understanding of these changes and develop the competencies necessary for their children's education."
