Coupang and Coupang Eats Service (CES) announced on the 13th that they signed a business agreement with the College of Hotel & Tourism Management at Kyung Hee University on the 11th to revitalize traditional markets.
This agreement was established to support traditional market merchants who lack experience in online sales and to provide university students with practical digital commerce experience. The target area is the commercial district of the Cheongnyangni Traditional Market in Seoul.
Under the agreement, students from the College of Hotel & Tourism Management at Kyung Hee University will participate in the 'Digital Commerce Challenge Project' to support the online operations and marketing activities of traditional market stores.
Students will develop customized strategies for each store from the perspective of consumers in their 20s and participate in overall practical work, including customer expansion plans, advertising operations, and online sales improvement.
