(나주=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자= (재)전남바이오진흥원 그린바이오본부 천연자원연구실(이하 천연자원연구실)과 ㈜신비바이오가 천연물 소재를 활용한 고부가가치 바이오 제품 개발 및 지역 산업 경쟁력 강화를 위해 전략적 협력 체계를 구축했다.
천연자원연구실은 지난 14일 본원 회의실에서 ㈜신비바이오와 ‘천연물 소재 건강기능식품·의약품·화장품 개발 및 시설 공동 활용을 위한 업무협약(MOU)’을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
이번 협약은 전남 지역의 풍부한 천연자원 인프라를 바탕으로 양 기관이 축적해 온 핵심 연구 역량과 상용화 기술을 결합하여 시장 경쟁력을 갖춘 천연물 기반 융복합 제품을 개발하기 위해 추진됐다.
협약에 따라 양 기관은 천연물 소재를 기반으로 한 건강기능식품, 의약품, 코스메슈티컬(화장품) 개발 전 과정에 걸쳐 긴밀한 협력 체계를 가동한다.
