전남개발공사는 오는 7월 24일 무안청사 앞 광장 일원에 여름철 물놀이 공간인 「2026 SUMMER 무안청사 워터스퀘어」를 개장해 운영한다고 밝혔다.
이번에 선보이는 ‘무안청사 워터스퀘어’는 시민 누구나 무료로 이용할 수 있는 도심형 물놀이·휴식 공간이다. 멀리 떠나지 않고도 가까운 도심에서 안전하고 시원하게 여가를 즐길 수 있도록 다채로운 시설과 프로그램을 갖췄다.
주요 시설로는 방문객들의 눈길을 사로잡을 초대형 MEGA 슬라이드를 비롯해, 140평 규모의 대형 슬라이드, 물 위에서 역동적인 모험을 즐길 수 있는 워터 챌린지 등이 마련된다.
여기에 영·유아와 어린이를 위한 모래놀이 시설 및 아동용 슬라이드부터 청소년들을 위한 역동적인 어트랙션까지 연령대별 맞춤형 시설을 폭넓게 구성했다. 가족 단위 방문객은 물론 친구, 단체 이용객까지 모두가 함께 즐기는 여름철 대표 물놀이 명소가 될 것으로 기대된다.
