Following this, Assembly Member Yoon Do-hee will chair a discussion featuring Yoo Byung-soo, member of the Gyeonggi Provincial Council's Education Planning Committee; Kim Eun-jung, Head of the Democratic Citizenship Education Division at the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education; Kim Min-young, Representative of the Parents' Reading Movement Group Woosumter; Oh Seung-hoon, Representative of the Paju Senior Space Nanal Bookstore; and Dr. Choi Young-don, a sociology scholar.

The discussion is expected to explore the role and operational direction of the Democratic Citizenship Education Center, as well as measures to establish a sustainable civic education system, based on opinions from various fields including schools, parents, and the local community.

Assembly Member Yoon Do-hee stated, "Democratic citizenship education belongs not only to students but to all provincial residents and the local community," adding, "I will incorporate the diverse opinions of the residents into the ordinance to lay the foundation for democratic citizenship education that remains unwavering despite changes in administrations or policies." Meanwhile, Assemblyman Yoon has been participating in the Task Force (TF) of the Gyeonggi Provincial Superintendent of Education Transition Committee to discuss plans for establishing the Institute for Democratic Citizenship Education, and previously issued a legislative notice for the ‘Ordinance on the Establishment and Operation of the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education Institute for Democratic Citizenship Education.’ He plans to submit the ordinance bill to the relevant standing committee after broadly gathering opinions from various sectors through this forum.
